About Anchor Facilities
Built by someone
who has done the work.
Anchor Facilities was founded on a simple observation — most Irish property owners are not badly served by their maintenance contractors. They are served with no records, no planning and no accountability.
Our Story
From the tools to
the portfolio.
Anchor Facilities was founded by professionals in the industry who have worked on the client side long enough to understand how much price matters, quality matters and timing matters. Working in professional organisations such as ISS Facilities, CBRE and others but to mention a few, opened our eyes to the medium sized businesses who also need the support, but it isn't readily available.
The route of how we got here matters. Fifteen years later, after running facilities for large portfolios globally with corporate firms, hospitality groups and more — managing engineers, contractors, risk management, compliance schedules and the escalations nobody else wanted — the pattern was always the same. The buildings that cost the most were never the oldest. They were the ones nobody had planned for.
Anchor Facilities exists to bring that planned, documented, portfolio-grade approach to Irish property owners who have been offered nothing but reactive call-outs and a paper docket.
We are based in Clarecastle, Co. Clare, and we work across six counties. Small enough that you deal directly with the person accountable for your property. Structured enough that nothing depends on anyone remembering.
"I have stood in enough plant rooms at 2am to know that almost every emergency was predictable six months earlier. That is the entire business in one sentence."
Why We Exist
The problem we
actually solve.
Most property owners are not looking for another contractor. They are looking for someone to own the problem — so that compliance does not lapse, budgets stop moving, and nobody has to chase three trades to get one job closed out.
Compliance that is provable
Fire, electrical, gas, water and fabric obligations tracked against a schedule, with every certificate filed and dated. When an inspector, insurer or funder asks, the answer takes minutes rather than weeks.
Costs that stop surprising you
Reactive maintenance is the most expensive way to run a building. Planned preventative maintenance converts unpredictable emergency spend into a fixed monthly figure you can budget against.
One number, one answer
No coordinating an electrician, a plumber and a fire company to close out a single job. One contract covers every trade and every obligation, with one person accountable for the outcome.
How We Work
Four things we
do not compromise on.
Everything is documented
Every visit is logged, photographed and reported through our job management system. You see the same record we do, in real time, through your client portal. If it was not recorded, as far as we are concerned it did not happen.
We quote what it costs
Fixed pricing, agreed before work starts, with materials at cost plus a stated margin. We would rather lose a job on price than win it on a number we both know will move.
Certified trades only
Electrical work by registered electricians. Gas by RGII-registered engineers. No exceptions, no shortcuts, no work signed off by someone not qualified to sign it off. Full public liability, employers liability and professional indemnity cover throughout.
We say no when we should
If a job is outside our competence, or a property needs something we are not the right people to deliver, we say so and point you to someone who is. That is a shorter conversation than the alternative.
Standards & Credentials
Boring, unglamorous,
non-negotiable.
Credentials are not marketing. They are the reason a facilities manager can put you on site without carrying the risk personally. Ours are current, verifiable and maintained.
Safe Electric Registered
Electrical works carried out and certified by registered contractors under the Irish regulatory scheme.
RGII Registered
Gas installations and servicing delivered by Registered Gas Installers of Ireland engineers.
Fully Insured
Public liability, employers liability and professional indemnity cover in place. Certificates on request.
Registered in Ireland
Anchor Facilities Limited — an Irish registered company operating under the Companies Act 2014.
Where We Work
Six counties,
one standard.
Operating from a main office in Clarecastle, Co. Clare — close enough to reach mid-west sites inside an hour, structured to service multi-site portfolios across the country.
Being locally based is not a slogan. It means a faster response, direct working knowledge of local authority requirements, and the same person answering the phone whether it is a routine service or a burst main on a Sunday.
Let us look at
your property.
A free site assessment costs you an hour and tells you exactly where your compliance position stands. No obligation either way.
